1. Which chapter in World History did you enjoy most this year and why?
This year in World History, the chapter that I enjoyed most was Chapter 16, The Second Industrial Revolution. I enjoyed this chapter because I enjoyed learning about Boston, Paris, and Great Britain. I enjoyed this chapter too because I did a project on it. The project that I had done was Lesson 2, The French Revolution. During The French Revolution I learned about France. In this lesson I sub topics which were, France in Trouble, New and Old Privileges, The Reign of Terror, Napoleon, and Napoleon’s Conquests. I learned when and where the French Revolution began. It began on August 1789.

2. Describe some of the things that you learned in that chapter. Is there a project that you completed that you enjoyed working on?
In the chapter I learned how the French Revolution had begun. The French Revolution begun because when the king refused to grant demands the members of the third estate formed into a group called the National Assembly. They then began to write a constitution for France. Then however the French Revolution had begun. I had also learned some vocabulary in this chapter. For example….
Monarchy- a government in which a king, queen, or emperor has supreme leader.
This year in Social Studies I did a project on the French Revolution. I enjoyed working on this project because I was in a group and we did a video. I also enjoyed working on this project because it made us learn about the French Revolution. This was a very interesting topic to do.

3. What new skills have you learned throughout the year?
This year I didn’t really learn any new skills. I learned how the French Revolution had begun. I also had learned how to put thing on maps and how to label things.

I can apply this knowledge that I learned to the real world because if I ever have to label something on a map I would know where everything would go.
